<<we should be expecting bullish guidance on February 8.

And I hope ntap gives bullish guidance as well....it's the prospect that they may not....or that it isn't good enough to satisfy the street which is looking very closely at it's valuation right now, that would concern me if I was buying right now....I will say this....I more cases then not, stocks have sold off somewhat after earnings....many times even if earnings are good....and if bad, or if guidance has a hint of negativity, we all have seen how rudely and quickly things can drop......again, I prefer to wait til earnings....if PE was 25 right now, i would buy without hesitation, but since even in mid 40's the pe is sky high, the numbers better be good and the guidance better be good as well, or Mr. market may take that valuation down to more realistic levels.

Again, I love the company....I dont want to preach doom and gloom......I just think for me personally, it is best to be cautious with NTAP right now until after earnings and we see which way this chart is gonna turn...right now, that chart looks straight down from $70's....is $45 the bottom? Time will tell....good luck to all

TD, I put great credence in DW's words during cc's. If he gives great guidance, I will believe him and not the analysts. If he gives lukewarm guidance, I will believe that, too.

The M/L report is very positive and says the downgraders don't get it.

I must admit that this downward volatility has me uncomfortable in the short term. Not enough to sell, though.
