"As someone who spent 3 years participating in a Pentacostal Church I am gravely mortified by the appointment of this man.It is the duty of all Pentacostals to follow the advice of their pastors. Ashcroft will do what his pastor tells him; or, according to his religion, he will burn in hell for eternity. We should all find out who his pastor is cause that's the guy who will really be interpreting the laws.........not Ashcroft." Pat what you are saying is that we have a religious litmus test. No person who is of the Pentecostal faith is qualifed to hold public office. I don't think that flies. In fact I think it reflects an intolerance much like those who objected to the Kennedy presidency on the grounds that the pope would run the country. Many people disagree with some of the teachings of their religions. There are Catholics who are pro-choice, people of the Jewish Faith who eat pork, and baptists who drink. Ashcroft has a long record of public service. You and others may not like his political positions, but if he were being controlled by his Pastor I think that could be proven by now. Little joe
