Hi Dave, Your point is well taken. Many small mutual funds will show higher annual costs than the giants. There should be economies of scale. I noticed 10 years ago that the "sector funds" tended to have much higher costs than diversified funds. But on further analysis it turned out to be their relative size. They were still tiny at that time, most with assets less than $100MM.
