Scumbria.. I dont have the link.. but a CNN Poll today said that 53% of AMericans opposed opening up Alaska or the arctic for energy exploration in spite of the energy crisis in Californina.. only 33% supported it... Glad to see most Americans are environmentally aware... if those #'s hold up.. and with Bush's narrow election agenda (if any).. I doubt he'd dare try something so potentailly unpopular Also note that some people accused Bush of trying to exploit the California Energy Crisis to further his goals of drilling in the Arctic Reserve.
