Your response is well reasoned and thoughtful, but I hope you won't be offended if I am not feeling very serious right now - for some reason I keep thinking about the following advice (I think it's from Jorj) with respect to Cisco: 1. Buy Cisco. 2. If it goes down, buy more. 3. Never, never sell it. Nothing works all the time. The ideal is to find out what's working now before everyone else does the same thing. In the alternative, pick the right 10 to 30 year period to buy and hold. -g- As for "we're doomed," that's Luc, and no one takes it seriously, not even Luc. -g- Gotta run. Later.
