Tim,

>>Edit: I have never been on the right side of the technical problems on the CME...when quotes went slow or delayed and my broker called me, I exited. I see now we may still see more downside, but I do not keep positions on when there are problems trading, whether it is personal or related to the exchanges.<<

You added this edit to one off your posts to me that I missed.
And I agree here, I'd held a short position overnight and got a morning call confirming the buildings electrical system was closing down for an hour Plus, because of street crews working on cable lines. I was in the money by 50+ points, so I called and exited before my target. But I lost out on another 20 points.
No sense being blind and hopeful. <smile>

SPX daily has a nice trend line off the highs from Sept. I'd think that would be a retrace target, and in a few days that will sit at 1300±. Also there's a lot of fork lines having fun in that area.

I don't expect to be surprised if 1345 is broken and the next low is 1290-1300±....?

Elections in Israel could create a knee jerk for all western markets. Traders may take advantage of that news to rattle out weak hands.

Oil should react as well...?
