No, I haven't read it. I've read references to that book, and his earlier work, often enough that I feel I know something about the book, and what it says. Wait until vouchers and $5000 a year per student tax credits kick in, if public schools in poor neighborhoods were bad then.

I'm going to serve dinner now, Chilean sea bass, which makes me feel, thinking about the wretched public schools, like a character in Zola's Germinal.
