slider, have girded my loins but fear i have little but an old stick to go into the fray with. studying noc'n'day to get some fundies straight. on adct. the ratios are almost scary. co. is either terribly undervalued or on the brink of implosion; the mkt. is betting on the latter. am wondering why i should bet on the former. saw the 8k filed 1/29 which announces the hiring of rocitt (sp?) from at&t. this seems positive. i understand the co. has 30 days to fully explain the 8k. the 8k of 1/19 seems pretty forthright: guidance down and layoffs - not a lot of unexpected news i would wager. does an 8k normally herald only one event, or are we waiting for another shoe to drop? all that i read seems to indicate this is a co. that wants to make international acquisitions, while stuff is cheap?, but won't this depress share price even more? and the addition of 35m shares: why would they want to make a purchase in stock at these prices? probably other things i should be asking, so tell me what... anyone out there feel free to answer this, please. don
