Scumbria- So what do you think of the new President? Partisan disagreements aside, do you still believe that he doesn't have the mental capacity to be effective? He's run the most well oiled (heh) transition in the last 50 years. And he's brought in some very good people. The State dept is ecstatic the Powel is in charge. And the Defense Department? washingtonpost.com And as for the environment here's is what I think: Bush is an outdoorsman. You must know a few Republican outdoorsmen in Colorado. Do they really loved the pristine country side any less than you? Do they want to see it logged and polluted by heavy metal runoff? I don't think Bush is going to be the disaster for the environment that you fear.
