Your post is interesting.

Since I am always so busy, the last thing I do is ready my bookmarks. Today, having done all of my outstanding chores left over since November, I thought I would visit this thread, since the last time I came was 26748 posts ago!

What's happening with Gold here? What's the average cost of production an ounce these days for a big company like Barrick?

Teresa

You know how to think but you know little about Faith. Otherwise you would accept the "Gold Bugs" for who they are and just post your thoughts. Their Faith is no different than many market participants who firmly believe that Greenspan's pumping and radical easing will stimulate growth again in spite of massive debt and an American Public which has very little cash flow to invest in these markets and push prices much higher.

The situation in Japan and Europe is much worse than the US. This is why the dollar index is where it is.

So, the "gold bugs" will most likely get their wish and see the Equity Bulls of the World drop dead financially and spiritually speaking, like they have. Why don't you ask the "gold bugs" if there is any satisfaction in that while the POG flounders?

There is more hope for Gold if Greenspan is successful in reinflating.

Time to put up! You say GATA does not understand the factors that influence gold prices. What are those factors in your judgement?

Does not Greenspan's statement about CBs offering more gold for lease if the price should rise amount to an implicit committment to bail out the shorts if they ever get into trouble?

No way, lets get more serious non real.

My beautiful dragon has a hotter fire breathing flame
than your homely puny excuse for a dragon that you have
on your si profile page. Even your Happy Face receiving
that cool & chilly flame of your's don't even break a sweat.
