I watched some of that too ( at least it was on in the room ). I've seen no one comment anywhere on the fact that early in the 4th quarter, the game in Los Vegas was so boring that they dumped it and started showing one from Florida. They didn't say anything, or explain what happened to the Los Vegas game, they just dumped it and never went back. How embarrassing for Jesse.

The broadcast is wrestling style, smashmouth and sex. That's the TV draw.

I think the promoters want the level to be slightly better than Division 1 college ball, but obviously can't match the NFL. One thing is clear, some of the innovations (like mikes on the sideline, field camera angles, ect.) will undoubtedly be adopted by the NFL in due time.
