That's what i don't get. The incessant, desperate posts about how we're gowing down but he refuses to buy puts??? I don't get it...if I had that much conviction I'd sure be playing it.

CG- Well Steve667 convicned me and I'm now a fan of QQQ puts.

I was quite scared for all of 98 and 99 but people convinced me that I was wrong to worry sonce you always get little dips in a bull market and stop worrying so finally when March last year came I was a convinced believer in dips and that everything was just fine. Then the Summer rally, then waiting for November- March period where most gain have been made on the NAZ etc. and so here we are.

No-one except MM saod get out and stay out in March 2000 or April 2000. We all except MM went along in blissful ignorance believing that a recovery was just around the corner. Well it wasn't, it isn't and it won't be.

As for shorting, in last years environment when I like everone else or at least like most people on these threads were talking recovery and that I shouldn't be so pessimistic ...who was going to buy any puts in that climate?

Best regaRDS,

L
