Michael, I don't buy the same, fixed number of shares for all my investments. I have between 32 shares and 3000 shares of various companies in real life. Do you always buy the same number of shares regardless of price? Your best chance of winning this contest isn't necessarily with penny stocks and a large cap -- just penny stocks plus ANY stock that consumes 90+% of your portfolio (plenty of small caps can do that for you). By only needing to pick one rocket, your odds are much better than "ordinary" contests that require you to choose 5 -- you have a better chance at an extreme position since you have no other stocks to moderate that stock's volatility, and so you could win at either end of the boards.
