Nasdaq Moving Down to Fill The Gap...

There was a gap up on January 17th on the Nasdaq...

It started from the previous day's high of 2638... It was filled today... On the way to filling it, it made a downside gap in the 2660 area...

It's trying to find a bottom... With negative reaction by the market to the latest 1/2 point rate cut we have a situation where the market isn't doing what it's supposed to do... When that happens it's best to listen to the market than things like don't fight the FED... While the FED will most likely win the war, the negative market sentiment is clearly winning the early battles... The market is sensing a weaker than expected economy... Whether that's true or not doesn't matter... It's what the market perceives that counts... Until the Nasdaq gets up above its 13 day MA in the 2726 area we remain in a downtrend...
