Hi Tom and all........How long indeed can we hold our collective breaths for the market to turn?? The following is offered in a FWIW vein: John Murphy this morning put out a notice that "Recession Less Likely"...He quotes an Economic Cycle Research Institute (ECRI) press release to the effect that its Weekly Leading Index "has started veering away from a recessionary track"....according to the ECRI a slowdown in the economy started June 2000....Murphy says they have developed a healthy respect for the work of the ECRI.
