Hi tso/dlo,

Hope the 3rd. time is a charm. I've lost this twice!!

Yessir ole AG can declare the "WEALTH EFFECT" OVER, NULL AND VOID, CEASE AND DESIST, CAPUTE, GONZO.

Just ask the tens or thousands of people who are laid off and will wonder where they will get their next house and car payment from. Yessir AG should be grinning from ear to ear they way he single handily fought nominal inflation and has managed to achieve "ZERO GROWTH" for our economy.

How did you make out for 2000 did you have any cg's over all as close to your March 10th. NAV.?

Personally I got decimated and barely closed in the black and won't have much in the line of cg taxes. Ain't I shrewd <GGGGGG>. So far this year all I have is capital losses.

I do not have the acumen or wherewithal of trading like you, E., and cb. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one on SI that can't make a profit no matter what I trade stks. or options. Someday I'll learn from the "zen masters".

Hope I don't bore or offend any you with my serendipitous remarks, I mean no harm and enjoy all of your company. I am just a wee bit aggravated with this mkt. in case you haven't noticed. I think this slaughter has been over done and still buy the dips being the eternal optimist. It is very, very bad to be even remotely optimistic about the techs. THEY ARE TOAST, STICK A FORK IN THEM THEY ARE DONE. jmho.

Can hardly wait to buy INTC, CSCO, SUNW, SNDK, SCMR in the teens since I foolishly bot them at much higher levels last April through October, artfully scooping the dips <GGGGG>.

Al "the bull-dozed"

Duane,

It's hard to make sense of it all. I am sure that it would have been better to have avoided creating the bubble in the first place, but wow! wasn't it a wild and fun ride to the top of Nasdaq 5000!.....wasn't it?!! I am thrilled to have been fully in the market for that. Of course the pain that followed mutilated the LTBH crowd. Not sure they will never be the same. I think Nasdaq may be getting its bad boy reputation back and we are looking at pre97 attitudes when it comes to "tech stocks".......not LTBH, very risky, safer to be in NYSE/Dow, watch out for that Nasdaq......remember that? CSCO won't help by missing earnings tonight.
