Perhaps - if you can find an installer to install it... let alone one that understands complex networks well enough to design a network. I think what you'll see is:

- carriers extending their networks into new markets by buying complete installed systems - this will be the exception however
- enterprise and carrier customers buying one-off units to solve specific short term situations.
- vendors buying these products as well - taking them off the market and then turning a profit through a resale.

I don't think you'll see companies buying lots of product and then figuring out how to make 'em fit. System Engineers are one of the most difficult thing to find and so new companies will not form to take advantage of the resale opportunities. Rather existing companies with existing engineering will look to this freeing inventory to fill niche needs. I believe the impact here is being overstated.
