<<<How many times do we need to be born again? Is it "once and for all time?">>>>

I believe the answer is yes. Once a person is born again their new nature cannot deny God. I believe the flesh can rise up and overpower it but not indefinitely. Without repentence working continually and reviving the spirit it's only natural that the flesh will do it's best to stay on top and overcome any good intentions of serving God.

I believe that many, many that enter into heaven will have no works following them but will be saved as it is by fire. As a branch pulled out of the burning. Smelling like the world, like smoke, but still saved.

How many times can one turn their backs upon God and still be saved only God can answer. I am under the opinion that those who harden their hearts against Him over and over again never were His in the first place. The wheat grows with the tares and only God is able to sort them out.

The scriptures exhort us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. If we take no heed to that advice but rather sit back, rest and say, soul, be at peace and take your ease because you are saved, then it just appears obvious that power of the Holy Spirit is not operating.

The bottom line is, from my perspective nobody is saved until they pass through those pearly gates. I think from heavens point of view those who are saved have been so ordained even from before the foundations of the world.
