Hmm, where are the 133/266 FSB chips on the AMDZone price list?

I thought for a moment that SFF might be a code for the faster FSB chips, but the speeds don't match up at all. Then I realized that the currently announced 1.0/266, 1.13/266, and 1.2/266 chips aren't there either.

I'll bet there's another price list that Chris Tom doesn't yet have his hands on...

Chris (no relation :)

P.S. Looks like CSCO may be providing yet another buying opportunity today, NAZ futures down 59 at the moment.

CS: So what is Athlon SFF?

I'm thinking it might just be desktop Palomino. It seems too early (and too expensive) to be Morgan. If you compare
processors at the same prices (3-5-01) to the Athlons, you get this:

As Paul already pointed out, something is seriously wrong with that price-list. It has mobile Athlons as having shipped since 11 December - clearly not the case. Maybe the list is old enough that SFF could be Sledge.

Dear Chris:

A suggestion: SFF - Sink Fan Free

A lower power desktop running at reduced voltage and with low enough draw to not require a fan on the neat sink. Of course, they could be mobile Athlons that required a little too much voltage to make it to spec. They also could be Palominos where half the cache failed or equivalent to Morgan 128Ks.
