OK. But DDR does not have a "multiplexed bus" either. So if Infineon can get the judge to accept the "multiplexed bus" restriction then they could apply the same narrow reasoning to the RDRAM features appropriated for use in DDR.

I do not think the judge will buy this interpretation since these other features do not depend on the type of bus and can be the subject of independent claims.

I have not reviewed all the patent claims language. It is a lot of work!

Programmable delay registers predate SDRAM. In EDO memory controllers, the register was located in the memory controller rather than inside the module.

Had the architects of SDRAM known that Rambus was going to submarine them, they certainly would have left the register on the memory controller side.
