Pat,
At this point, I think jdsu and csco are possible day trades for anyone who has any money, Don't think you do those but sure is tempting. Just a thought since nothing good is happening to any of us who are long techs.

Cisco is #1 or #2 in every market it is in including IP telephony. Also it has much more cash and cash flow than JDSU/SDLI combined.

I don't see this as lose/win situation, ie., loss for Cisco and win for JDSU. Given that (1) JDSU is either directly or indirectly a supplier to Cisco, and (2) other JDSU customers, NT and LU who are also Cisco's competitors will be buying less from JDSU because they will do more in house -- especially so after buying JDSU factory, -- JDSU will depend even more on sales to Cisco. We're on same team, I believe.
