Thanks, HS.

It looks like IBM is pulling out all the stops to meet its numbers this quarter:

IBM Lease Lets Customers Install Now And Pay LaterLimited Time Offer Gives Customers A Fast Start In 2001

ARMONK, NY, Feb 07, 2001 (INTERNET WIRE via COMTEX) -- IBM today announced a first-quarter financing incentive designed to help customers get on track fast with new e-business software, networking and storage applications and hardware. IBM Global Financing's Early Installation Financing Payment Deferral promotion provides a 120-day deferral of payments if select new products are installed in February, and 30-day deferral if the customer chooses to install these products in March.

"With the early installation program, customers have a financial incentive to move their business forward with new technology and applications," said William Doscas, vice president, financial products and sales operations, IBM Global Financing. "They can install earlier and, without impacting their budget, benefit sooner from new information technology investments."

Eligible products include all IBM distributed, one-time charge software, including Lotus and Tivoli products and IBM middleware, such as WebSphere and data management products. Hardware products includeall IBM storage,
printer and networking products.

Software product early installation incentives are available in North America and worldwide in selected countries in which IBM Global Financing operates. Hardware product installation incentives are available in North America and Latin America, and vary by product in other geographies.

Thanks, it is very helpful in these trying times to look at these charts. And I agree with you that the stock is oversold. Should be one of the first to turn around and will fast go back near its high, in the event of a decisive upturn in the market. Could happen sooner than most think. From here, the market has nowhere to go (could retest the lows, near term, though). But the pessimism cant last forever and it will soon be looking for strong leaders to get out of that slump. Look at IBM and MSFT today. EMC, (and NT), are two good candidates to replace CSCO as a bellweather along with traditional stalwarts Big Blue and MSFT.
