Rather than let SI fold, I would buy it (price to be determined) and turn it into a financially and communicatively successful operation. Then I would seriously consider selling the company to its members, which would create the kind of loyalty that makes a business thrive. We could even have shareholders' votes on the various proposals that arise from members.

In the meanwhile, I would enjoy playing God to my heart's content - so no one better criticize me anymore..

Imagine the possibilities of all these thousands of well informed people working together! It can work!

What do you guys think SI is worth to INSP right now? How many people would be required if each bought $1000 worth of stock?
