I agree that some investors are jumping ship ahead of earnings next week on the expectation of another Cisco.
As for me, I added to my long position on the weakness today. I'm not waiting for the nice round number, although I'll certainly buy more if it gets there. The CSCO comparison is a stretch because CSCO's valuation is stretched. The value proposition is a cushion that keeps investors from dumping AMAT on bad news. Wish I had bought AMAT on previous Friday off announcements.
