There's many different types of Blues. They all started out with the basic then the individuals added their own soul to their music.

St. Louis Blues is jazzier to me then the Delta Blues. That's always seemed to me to be more of a mournful sound. Chicago Blues is to me an in between of SLB and DB.

I'd always loved the mourn of an alto sax then fell head over heals for the cry of the tenor sax. The clarinet is another that makes me weak in the knees.

I can hear the music in my head but I've never been able to play an instrument. I've got a whole lotta respect for the people that can.
