Hi Dave B; The major vendors support Intel more than AMD. The first DDR chipsets were AMD chipsets, not Intel chipsets. I think this accounts for most of the difference between the product launches.

Yes, but except for Dell, all the major vendors already deliver AMD-based products. Where's their DDR-based systems? This doesn't explain the lack of support. Why doesn't Gateway offer DDR systems using the 760? Or IBM? Or HP? They all use AMD chips, and IBM is a huge proponent of DDR. You'd think at least IBM would offer it in a system. Why aren't they on board three months after the launch?
