Amy J, but that is totally different. Dubya is not Bill, and he is a Republican to boot. Did he sexually assault anyone during the inaugural festivities? Did he rent out the Lincoln bedroom? What about Whitewater? Did he claim to have invented the Internet? I thought so.

And this,
"Consider that of the 474 individuals Bush appointed to his transition teams, more than half made contributions to the Republicans."

To suggest that there is some quid pro quo here is very uncivil of you. Typical liberal, stoops to personal attacks and smears on a fine upstanding man's character instead of making a real argument. No wonder y'all lost the election.

Amy J -Re:"Bush was quietly pocketing $100,000 checks from his buddies, and no one raised so much as a fish fork.

The occasion for this generosity was the Bush-Cheney inauguration, and the total collected was more than $40 million."

The buddies of W and the businesses will will collect many times over on their generosity. The tax cuts and favors will help these needy folks.

The former CEO of Enron wrote a personal check for $100,000. He will get several times that back in a tax cut.

W is allowing those Texas power generators, including Enron, to extort money from the people and businesses of CA. This will raise the Enron stock price W's ex-CEO buddy -- still more money on his Enron position.

Meanwhile it is critical to DRILL MORE in the Alaska Wilderness to "help" the electricity crisis in CA. Hint Ca generates its power using natural gas not oil.

More money for the buddies. Don't get in the way of the hogs when they are headed for the trough.

.Tyan 760MP Board News-Chris Tom 5:00 p.m. CST
I talked with Tyan and AMD at length about the 760MP chipset release. Tyan is shooting for a late Q1 release of their 760MP board code named Lions. The board is in final development. Now we know the features of this board are dual processor cable, has onboard scsi, onboard lan, and 64 bit PCI.

Now the thing that I found out yesterday is that the power supply connector is not the one you are used to seeing in previous Athlon boards. If you look at your connector for your Athlon board it is probably an ATX 2.01 or maybe 2.03 compliant connector. These connectors have a total of 20 separate contacts. The Tyan 760MP board has a plug with 24 of these contacts. Now as far as I know this is not 2.03 compliant. Now I just recently purchased a new case partially in preparation for a dual board. It has the normal 20 pin connector, but also a standalone 4 pin connector? So what is this 4 pin power connector? Look at my MSI KT7 Master review and you will see that it has a separate 4 pin power connector, which is what the Enermax 430 watt power supply my case has includes. Now would it be possible to use that connector in conjunction with the normal 20 pin to power the Tyan 760MP board? I don't know yet, but I will definitely find out.

Now, back to the AMD side of things. It appears from them that they are still scheduling the 760MP chipset release for the 2nd quarter. They will be working in conjunction with Tyan however as they are the premiere partner with AMD on the 760MP. Hopefully it will not be too much longer before we will start seeing some 760MP systems getting out to reviewers.

Amy,

Whence came such philanthropy? Let's see. Philip Morris, Chevron and General Motors each gave $100,000. So did Exxon, Enron and good ol' Dow Chemical. Money poured in from energy companies, oil refineries

And the next week he starts pushing for drilling in the Arctic. He should be impeached, post-haste. The man is as corrupt as anyone who has ever occupied the Whitehouse.
