Re : BSE etc. -- in case it has not already been posted here, there is a mad cow website (which I think is absolutely fascinating. You could spend a LOT of time looking at re-printed articles ...)

Yes and also some make up products. Seems the industry dreamed up the idea that the brains of cows could provide a base for make up products. Just heard that on the TV.
