Yes, but it was the completely unecessary mid-meeting cut that that triggered the markets back in 1998.

At that point the Dow was trading well above the lows made during the worst part of the Contagion crash.

I liken it to putting fuel on a fire.

Steve, you have not posted this thread until 2/8. (going back for a year). You must think everyone is stupid other than yourself. Your "evidence" is nothing more than what the media/analysts/clowns have been saying all the way down. I don't buy your "new era", "cook the books and call it earnings" hype.

Maybe you should check your profile yourself and you will see why I am sure you are what you are.
