>>>I tried getting DSL>>
Same story here, have been ready to pay for dsl for a year. Or a connection to DTV. No luck, no human voice on phones, except ones saying to call another #. They just don't care(G)

agree with you it's not happening fast enough, that's why I'm worried about catalyst to drive the tech market after all the selling is done. It's good rates are coming down so the providers can borrow the necessary funds or float bonds, which some are doing, but I worry about the damage that has been done to the players. Are they going to be strong enough to recover quickly, T is a good example of that. I really don't think the providers will. The Greenman has pushed out the revolution two years.

Misheldo, I live in the sticks and have the same problem. I have seen satellite kits (expensive) at Best Buy that get internet access and then you can add on Direct TV. Well, I have Direct TV but can get no help adding internet access to my present dish. I guess I may end up with two dishes. As for DSL, the range should double soon. TXCC has a new chip for this that is just beginning to be put into use.
