Joe was saying that being Christian did not mean sharing your wealth with the government.

I was responding to Scumbria's post that somehow related his Marxist theory about who should get a tax cut with Christianity and how one needs to "share" with the poor by sending their money the US Treasury.

My point was not that there should be no taxes, but that Christian would rather share the money by sending it to the needy directly with a Christian message, than by sending the money to the government that will forward a portion of the money with an anti-Christian, atheist message.
