Tell me a right that you believe has
immunity to force or power!

OK. Starting from the beginning is good.

A right is a freedom that I claim and that society accedes to. I claim the right to my opinion, the right to own property, the right to be left alone in my home. I claim these rights and society accepts them as my rights and everyone else's. I trust that good citizens will not take action to violate my rights and the full force of the government and social pressure will back me up in my exercise of them.

There are two components of rights: the freedom that I claim and the social contract that agrees to support my claim. Together they produce a right.

Rights are, in practice, sometimes violated because the world is not perfect, but society tries hard to protect rights and it penalizes violators when immunity is not absolute.
