It's not even a portolio-picking contest.

In a portfolio-picking contest, you get to choose the allocation of funds to different stocks. (Sometimes within some parameters - so, you might have to choose from 5 to 10 stocks, with a minimum of 5% in each stock, and a maximum of 30%).

In this contest, you can choose the allocation, but the method is REALLY goofy - you have to choose higher-price stocks in order to get a larger allocation in the portfolio, and lower-priced stocks to get a lower allocation in the portfolio. If you wanted to weight a low-priced stock more highly than a high-priced stock, you CAN'T.
