Hi Mark,

Just starting to think about the differences in your system, TC's system, mine , and David Rose's. All of us are using Norton products but each one of us had different products that had to be protected in enditall.

I am guessing you do not have Norton protected recycle bin enabled on your system? TC, what about you?

And why would I have to protect the antivirus program and no one else?

I am also using the Norton utilties intergrator .

Items protected during shutdown are:
1. Enditall
2. Explorer
3. Systray

The following message appears before shutdown of programs that may have something to do with this slight problem:

"The following non-protected program appears to be a visible application:
Naviscope
You should close this program manually and save changed data or let Enditall close the best possible way"

Upon closing all programs and rebooting the computer hangs up at the final Windows screen. I shut down power and power up and everything seems to work properly. It is a minor problems among my many problems that probably does not need to be solved. Thanks to all for trying.
