John, I am also anchoring my Naz scenario on the 1998 events, the top of that bull was about 1900 in July 1998, and we then dropped to about 1350 by the October lows. My long range scenario had that top as the support for the Naz in the next few years, but if it is breached for more than a week or so, the bottom of that market around 1400 becomes the "next level". Right now, I do not see economic conditions justifying going to the 1400 levels, if, however, we do not manage the economy well, and create a world wide recession that could last more than 18 months, then the 1400 area will definitely come into play. I think that last scenario has a low probability, thus my long standing range for the next 5 to 7 years for the Naz of 1900 to 5300 is still in place.
