Harry,

All I know is that in his Jan. 25th speech before congress AG endorsed tax cuts, and he said the sooner the better

AG clearly is against tax cuts and said that they would be helpful only if there is serious deterioration of the economy "beyond what he currently expects". The slimeballs in the press corps showed their true colors in distorting his words from that speech.

Did you read the speech yourself?

Ted Re..harry, yes, and AG's monetary policy is handling those warning signals. I want to know which warning signals justify Bush's 9 year tax cut.

How the hell would I know?

Well, Harry, if you don't know and Bush doesn't know and his Treasury Sec. doesn't know, then who does?

Cisco's Chambers has been criticized for blaming the economy for his company's problems and for looking to Greenspan and Bush to bail him out. But let's face it: Chambers is right. Interest rates and taxes are too high. The economy is slipping into recession. We've got a stock market crash on our hands. Do you think Cisco's going to solve that by inventing a faster router? <<

It might help...JNPR is eating CSCO's lunch and their forward guidance two weeks ago was excellent.

I also like intelligent thinking behind that simple language...someone who has good and rational reasons for doing something as significant as promoting a tax cut or resurrecting star wars.<<<<<<<

How can you know GW doesn't have rational reasons for supporting a tax cut or supporting star wars. Just because you aren't smart enough to come up with good reasons doesn't mean they don't exist.

If he has good reasons, he seems to be having trouble articulating them....and many economists along with the WSJ have shown why his tax cut will not do what he suggests it will.

BTW I am smart enough to understand what AG considers to be the warning signals. Are you suggesting that Bush's reasons are so complex that even an AG would not understand?

GW has stated his reasons for a tax cut and star wars many times during his campaign, and enough people liked his reasoning such that he was elected president.

That's not true...the majority of the votes went to Gore, not Bush.

But my primary point in the last post was that Clinton is no longer president..so deal with it and move on.<<<<<<

Name me one post since ;Jan 21st,2001, where I have ever hinted that anyone other that GW is president.

They why do you continue to bring him up for conversation?

If anyone on this board is in denial, its you who is still claiming that AL won the election;

I am not claiming nor am I in denial...Gore did win.

it's you who is denying the validity of a tax cut when Chambers, AG, O Neil,90% of the republicans and 80% of the dems all agree we need a tax cut.

Only Bush and Republicans are claiming the need...the others are going along for political reasons.
