Speaking of daughters on Thursday I'm seeing Shemekia Copeland. I've heard she's pretty good. She's warming up for Buddy Guy. Would rather have seen Buddy do 2 sets, but he hasn't done that for quite a while. I really miss 2 set Buddy Guy shows, at least I was lucky enough to catch him play 2 sets 4 times in the early 90s. 1st sets were more singing and less playing. The 2nd sets were more playing and less singing. Buddy is still the real deal it's not like seeing B.B. or Bobby Blue Bland, they're more nostagia acts now, Buddy's still vital.
