We do know that insiders on the many of the newer 4 letter stocks still own a high percentage (up to 80%)
They were smart enough to sell some when it was over $100 and were then ahead of the game, the mistake
being to keep a lot and now that times are tougher they realize the company may never be profitable and are
trying to unload shares as indicated by the Proposed Sales
Individually they would not be a big component of the Nasdaq, but collectively there are billions sitting in the background remaining to be "unloaded" unless the market for their product (often Csco or PC makers)
improves which is not likely to happen..
Not being able to compute the effect of this selling leaves me unable to select a probable market direction. So far each rally, about 4 per month, has failed. Will wait and see.
