To the best of my knowledge, CSCO hasn't done that, and in the current atmosphere, I think that would be more of a sign of weakness than a smart move. Incentives should drive performance. With only a small portion of insider controlled shares, I don't know whether they would get approval to do that. However, I'm not sure whether they need shareholder approval. The other side of the equation is that given recent market movements in other high tech companies, where are employees going to jump to? The grass isn't always greener on the other side.knc
