Hi Alex,

What you learned from your ORCL trade is the basis for having a "basket" of stocks (in my case about 20) to follow. Over time, familiarity leads to an increased sensitivity to each stocks' recurring patterns.

Not to be overlooked is the great benefit of seeing over and over again how one particular stock fails to rally, or suddenly declines. Familiarity helps me cut losses very short and with little fuss, because I know without a doubt that it isn't me, it isn't the crazy market, it's just XYZZ going the wrong way like it often does, so sell it...
