Does it not seem that the software sector is holding up much better than the networkers/optical etc..; not necessarily in terms of stock price but in earnings reports we have been seeing from companies like SEBL and ITWO lately.

It seems there is less of a plan to spend on software than there is for hardware. Is that what you have been noticing?

I notice that you like Oracle. Would the trend to save costs not work in favor of companies like Microsoft that offer cheaper database software..SQL Server. Maybe the performance is not up to what Oracle can deliver but the cost becomes a bigger factor now.
Just interested in your thoughts. TIA.
