Elmer,

Merced has been out there for years, and no product. P4 is a mediocre design at best. Intel is going to need more ammo than they have got, to hold off AMD this year. K7 is a better product for most apps.

Just pointing out that the McKinley first silicon demo was at an Intel only sales conference, not the press (not your words, Elmer, that it was the press).
