Jim,

Had the votes been counted by public officials prior to the USSC fiasco, there would have been closure.

Nobody is going to accept newspaper counting results in either direction. If the newspaper said Gore won, you would have screamed something about the liberal press, and it is all a bunch of BS, blah, blah, blah.

The damage done by the USSC can never be undone.

As far as the final tally which showed Bush winning the state, even with the Dade undervotes...I think that should put some closure to the matter...

Not til Bush is voted out of office.....51% of the voters were thwarted out of their choice for president. Do you think your take on the matter will bring them closure?
