Rob, I think the NAZ best hope is the DOW, if it can break through 11000 then I think it might drag the Naz up with it . Just my opinion. If the Naz were to go to 1500-1700, IDX would be $4-$5..ouch

Marvin,

>>>>IMO If the Nasdaq breaks 2200, 1500 is the number I am looking at. This won't be pretty either. I don't think it will happen, but it is possible

FWIW I really don't think this will happen, but right now the overall mood of the market is somewhat bearish. The January was not quite as strong as anyone expected, the rally should have brought the Nasdaq to 3000. I see sideways until May or June, with spikes to 2800 and lows to 2300. In the mean time I will just hold everything I own and weather the storm.

Watch Intel, AMAT, JDSU, Microsoft and Cisco, if they break down any further it will a good way to foreshadow doom.

If IDX breaks and closes below 8 1/2, we are temporarily screwed.

Regards,

Rob
