i wouldn't touch a semi equipment maker with a ten foot pole...their guidance should be horrible...

I wasn't around for the last semi cycle, but I'm expecting some conflicting data this cycle given where we are in process technology. There is a massive Al to Cu conversion going on and we are at .18um now, but you can't do .13um unless you go to Cu. Will the semi's stick to the old equipment on .18um Al? Or will they need to move to .13um Cu to be competitive? The equipment makers *may* be alright if the Cu conversion takes place, but either way there will still be massive overcapacity by the foundries. JMHO
