"Some would argue that AMAT has not bottomed out as it has not reached its trough price/sales ratio of 1.0x that was reached in 1996. We don't feel this is a fair comparison given that since that time AMAT has doubled its revenue base, improved its efficency, dramatically enhanced its margin structure, increased its market share, and greatly increased its addressable market."
