Why is oil up today.

With the negative API's and DOE's I expecteted oil prices to be down today. Whats going on. Is some of the Mideast violence keeping prices up or is it the rumors about more production cuts coming from OPEC. Hard to figure out why the price oil moves the way it does.

GDP now at $6.00 was under $5 several days ago. The 20% increase on a very small number of shares. I think this is a true laggard. Has had terrible price action over the last eight months due to several fund raisings to clear out debt and cash up for a very active drill program now under way. Fundamentals look very good.

One interesting way to follow one of GDP's drill programs is at Subject 50810 This program is at South Drew and a four well program is planned. First Australian Resources is involved (another true laggard). FAR will be reporting weekly on South Drew, LA (Police Jury#1) Also drilling at Clear Branch, LA (Willamette #2) and the high potential Lake Long, LA (State Lease 328 No7 Well). Australian companies typically give very detailed and frequent reporting on their wells as opposed to their U.S. cousins that typically say very little until the well is completed.
