I repeat, what fact? That chimps don't think? They have 99% of our DNA, all the same morphology and biological systems that support thought, but they don't think? I can understand you have an opinion, but it is pretty clear it isn't an informed opinion.


I never asserted that chimps don't think, only that they don't think abstract philosophical thoughts. My original post did assert that they don't think about such ideas as rights. My later post (the one you reply to in the above quote, does not even assert that chimps don't think about philosophy but rather that the issue is a factual question. They either do have such thoughts or they do not.

Sure they think might think about life or running free, but they don't IMO think about abstract philosophical concepts.
