Humphrey never moved right. Maybe you're confusing his support for the Vietnam war for right wing tendencies. Not the case. When has the left been shy about using military force? Paul Wellstone opposed the Gulf war and supported the trashing of Yugoslavia. Would you cite that as evidence that Pauly has moved right? HAAAA. The little commie now has even sprouted facial hair to look more like his hero Lenin. BTW I do respect Humphrey the man if not his entire body of work. Oh, I think George Bush moved somewhat to the right (although certainly not as much as Reagan); Hubert Humphrey did, Bill Clinton did (perhaps because circumstances forced him to do so)...
