o·pin·ion (-pnyn)
n.

A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof

So are you saying that there is no positive knowledge or proof of any kind (so that all notions are beliefs)? At a root epistemological level I suppose that is true. I've argued that very point in the past, but once you recognize where that takes you then you must move on.

The problem with that theory of knowledge, is that it provides little predictive value. At the risk of re-repeating myself, a theory with no predictive value is not a very useful theory.
